デザイン事務所で働く友達のコジコジがGoogleMaps APIを利用して作ったライブハウスマップ、LINDA。最近、β版をリニューアルしたようで。さすがの完成度だぜ、HRTZ！
出演するバンドが画像はもちろん、MP3音源、YouTube動画も登録できるからお客さんはライブに行く前にバンドのテイストがわかるって事。全画面にマップが広がり、左右のサイドバーで投稿と検索が全てできるシンプルなレイアウトはわかりやすいよね。まだリリースしたばっかりでこれからどんどんコンテンツが蓄積されていくと思うけど、このままでもライブハウスのタウンページとして使えるよね。ハードコア好きでよくライブハウスに行く人はブックマークせい！
まぁ、こんなの見せられたら当然スケートスポットマップが頭に浮かぶ訳ですよねぇ。
最近東京に来る外人スケーターが多いんだけど、毎回スポットを伝えるのに苦労するんですよ。また新しくスケートを始めた人やひとりぼっちでスケートしている人って意外と新しく近くにできた公共パークの情報って入手する術がないんだよね。あとはやっぱり、雰囲気がわからないから行きずらかったり。
イリーガルなストリートスポットはとりあえず置いといて、公共パーク情報はもっとガンガン公開してみんなで共有していかないといけないよね。パークを作ってもらった後、それを広めるか埋めるかはスケーター次第。
そのなかでもインラインに向いてるパーク、ローカルが居るパークを印付けてデータベースを更新していけば相当貴重な情報／コンテンツになると思う。
これ、こないだのスケートフォトグラファーのサイトと共に是非とも実現させたいプロジェクトです。技術的にはさほど難しくないんだけど、どういった形でリリースすれば継続できるかはよく練らないといけないと思う。
そいえば、同じくGoogleMapsを利用したFifty-50のスポットマップがあった。これを作ってるFifty-50のLawrence Ingrahamってのは昔SequenceMag（元祖インライン掲示板！）を運営していたナーズで最近はRollerHomeっていうスケーターSNSの運営も試みてるんだよね。
My friend who will be my colleage just re-released his livehouse Map he made with a blog and Google Maps API. Its made so you can upload your next gig on the map or search for the closest livehouse. You can upload MP3 files of your band along with a YouTube video.
The interface is very simple and easy to understand. The full screen map is better than the default Google Maps for me.
After seeing some thing like this, you would imagine of a skate park map. I remember Fifty50 has a skatespot map with GoogleMaps but covering the whole America is too big of a mission, I feel. But for a place like Tokyo a public skatepark directory is needed and could be very useful. Especially for skaters coming from abroad since there aren't any sites in English introducing parks in Japan. Its something I want and definitely need to do with rollnet.jp. Let's see how it goes...
