During my stay in Paris, often times I would wonder what life would be like living here.
Here are some pics of people that actually live in Paris. Even though they don't look French at all, they know what it's like to live in Ville de Paris.
In the first pic, Gauthier's showing how oldschool he is in his throwback skate magazine style. "CRAZY ROLLER" a bible for every SKATE NERDS growing up in Paris. Gauthier is always dressed up in nice shirts and some crazy shit so it was kinda rare to see him in this oversized T-shirt and stuffing a waffle in his mouth.
Arigna aka "spring", aka "star" is the star of Paris. He's called "Spring" because he jumps so high. So high... He doesn't skate as much now but he is always down to chill and hang out. On the last day, we tried to get him in the SKB by giving him the SKBird T-shirt. Arigna you are the best!
Eddy aka "Lookback" was so kind to take us cycling around Paris. Renting a bike is a must do in Paris. So fun and easy to go around. You ain't seen Paris till you've ridden the Velib. One day I took on the adventure of going to LA TOLE from Gauthier's house by myself. I would pass through the Louvre, Chatelet and go into African town, Arabian town, Chinese town and see Paris in a whole new way.
The last pic is my buddy Vesna. He learned how to speak Japanese by watching TV dramas. Now he's a hipster so he rides a fixed gears along with Arigna, 20zool, Fabrice and they are really into it. We met him randomly in Bastille one day and he was on his way to the Bar Des Famille to store the new frame he got.
They don't look French at all... but wait till you hear them speak French.
